READY TO CONQUER CREATIVE INDUSTRY

Malawi has buried treasure, digging through many communities, there is talent failing to divulge itself due to lack of support from the society and government itself. Chikondi Kamanga is a budding Poet, screenwriter and novelist who is ready to shake the creative industry with his prowess skills.
After a great hookup in movies, Kamanga was inspired with movie characters that he latter started meditating them and made him to create stories his of his own.
“I authored my first fiction story in 2014, it was titled Frenimal a horror type. It was well received by the ones who read it. And people started calling me Frenimal,” with a beam on his face, he narrated.
After that first encounter, he started to writing fictional stories during examination and the results always turned out excellent. That enthusiasm derived him to settle and deliver on his talent.
Since then, Kamanga has managed to author about 20 stories and more than 100 poems to his name. For instance, stories like, Frenimal, The orphan, Disastrous The hustle bag, and deadly valentine among others.
Kamanga has untold poems, but just to pick a few from his shelf, here are roughly titles of them: Failure, Even white has a dark side, My creation, My children, and your sister among the myriad. All is work of art has not been unveiled owing to lack of platforms for exposure.
“I just write my stories, but only few people witch are my friends are the one who have access to them. I don’t have any access to any platform where my art can be exposed,” with a blue face he disclosed.
However, Kamanga disclosed his plans to author many novels, screenplays and poems for consumption. And he pleaded with the government to eliminate piracy for a better conducive market environment.
He then rebuffed all the pessimists and youth who take writing for granted to fix of it to a positive motive.
“the best way to communicate and express one’s feelings is through writing. So, if one has the ability to do so, do waste time but invest in it to be the writer you hope to become,” he said.
The 21-year-old went through the squares of Mphungu primary school, Lilongwe, and graduated to Bwaila secondary school in the same city. Thereafter, he did his certificate in accounting and currently his studying computer science at the Chancellor collage in Zomba.
